CAFSA (Chinese American Faculty and Staff Association of Cleveland State University) is a nonprofit organization.
The purposes of CAFSA are:

  • to facilitate academic, cultural, and social activities
  • to promote the interests and address the concern of Chinese American faculty and staff members
  • to increase sensitivity towards Chinese Americans in the university community
  • to assist students, especially those of Chinese heritage

CAFSA 2015 Chinese New Year Celebrations 

Dear CAFSA members and friends:

You are cordially invited to the 2015 Chinese New Year dinner party on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 6:00 to 10:00 (6:00-8:00 dinner and 8:00-10:00 dance) in the Student Center Ballroom. This event is jointly hosted by Confucius Institute at CSU and CAFSA.

There will be other celebration activities that will start at 1:30pm in Main Classroom for the entire afternoon, including Chinese culture performance by local artists and children, cultural exhibits, food tasting, and Chinese calligraphy demonstrations.

Before February 20th: non-CAFSA members: $20. CAFSA members and students (10 and above): $10. Children under 10: free.

After February 20, 2015: non-CAFSA members: $25. CAFSA members and students (10 and above): $15.
