Scholarships for New Freshmen

Scholarships do not have to be repaid and are based on many factors, including academic merit and/or financial need.

Scholarships Available

New Incoming Freshmen

Scholarships listed in this section are reserved for new incoming freshmen students. All new freshmen are automatically considered for scholarships once they are formally admitted to Cleveland State University. Students are also encouraged to complete the FAFSA for full consideration of all types of financial aid.

New Transfer Students

Scholarships listed in this section are reserved new transfer students. All new transfer students are automatically considered for scholarships once they are formally admitted to Cleveland State University. Students are also encouraged to complete the FAFSA for full consideration of all types of financial aid.

Continuing Students

Scholarships listed in this section are available to undergraduate students who are currently attending Cleveland State University and will be enrolled for the next academic year. Students are also encouraged to complete the FAFSA for full consideration of all types of financial aid.
