Non-degree students are interested in taking courses for professional development or for personal enjoyment. Non-degree status is ideal for students who are interested in pursuing a degree at Cleveland State but do not wish to complete the formal degree-seeking application process at this time.
Transient students are currently working toward a degree at another univeristy or college and would like to take courses at Cleveland State and have the credits transferred back to their home school.
Visiting students have a baccalaureate degree and want to take courses for professional development or for personal enjoyment. The application process is streamlined. Visiting students have no intention of earning a degree, certificate or licensure.
Cross Registration is available for students who are enrolled full time and are in good academic standing at one of 14 participating local universities and colleges.
Ohio residents, age 60 or older, are eligible to enroll in classes at Cleveland State on a tuition-free, space-available basis as Project 60 students.
