Advanced Preparation
Are you a teacher or human services professional looking to earn a new endorsement, to take stimulating new courses to improve your skills, or even to pursue a new career? If so, you may be interested in one of our many graduate level offerings. Graduate studies expose you to cutting-edge theory and research and allow opportunities to connect theory with practice. Teachers, counselors, administrators, health professionals, sports managers, exercise science specialists, and adult educators can all find something in our College to help them develop professionally. For those interested in study beyond a master’s degree, the College offers Educational Specialist programs and even a Doctorate in Urban Education. Graduate courses are scheduled to accommodate full-time employment—in the late afternoon, early evening, partially or fully online. Some programs offer cohort structures and flexible schedules to accommodate the needs of working professionals. During the summer, some courses are offered on a full-day schedule while others are offered in the evenings.
